CultureHop: Marielle Plaisir at K Contemporary

This Week, Culture Club Members will be hopping over to K Contemporary Gallery to see French-Carribean artist Marielle Plaisir’s solo exhibition, Rhapsody for a Beloved World. In the exhibition, Marielle presents a visual manifesto where beauty becomes an active force of resistance. Through large-scale tapestries, 3D backlit works, intricate drawings, and vibrant paintings from her World of Utopias series, Plaisir invites us into a world where aesthetic form challenges historical oppression and reclaims power through visual poetics. Join us to meet Marielle herself and hear about her process and artist in creating these powerful works.
