Concert recital focusing on works by Antonio Lauro (Venezuela), Manuel Maria Ponce (Mexico), and Eduardo Sainz de la Maza (Spain). These are all 20th century composers who worked to create a fusion of their national musical culture (Venezuelan dance, Mexican folk, and Spanish flamenco) with broader influences of traditional classical music from Europe.
